The Ron Fellows Karting Championship (RFKC) is delighted to announce the locations and details of the 2024 racing season. The series will return to our Mont-Tremblant venue for the weekend event of June 29 and 30.
Eight classes will compete every weekend this season, including Rok Mini, Rok Junior, Rok Senior, Briggs & Stratton Cadet, Briggs & Stratton Junior, Briggs & Stratton Senior, Briggs & Stratton Masters and the RFKC Challenge.
New this year, the RFKC Challenge will be a non-championship event, featuring two non-points races per weekend. Each venue has selected a different class that best represents the interests of its club members. VLR will be presented at Mosport, followed by Open Shifter (Senior and Masters) at the TAG Karting Academy, and finally Briggs & Stratton Senior Heavy at the Hamilton Karting Complex.
As always, the RFKC will have "National" status as a GDS ASN Canada FIA-sanctioned karting series. All drivers participating in the championship must hold a valid GDS ASN Canada FIA 2024 national karting competition license. The RFKC will again allow a one-race exemption for drivers competing on their local circuit, provided their club membership is in good standing.
If a MIKA member wishes to compete in Event 1 but not for the rest of the season, they will be allowed to compete without a national karting license for that weekend. If they decide to continue the season, they will need to apply for and obtain said license.
HRKC members will be welcome at the Hamilton Karting Complex, while ASQ licensees will be invited to join the action at the Tag Karting Academy.
